Sedona, Arizona has been the inspiration for a multitude of artists and photographers with its spectacular Red Rock formations. In fact, the film industry discovered the area over 70 years ago. If you like old westerns, you've seen Sedona many times.

Imagine a journey back in time with a visit to a prehistoric Indian Ruin where you will explore the visitor’s center with its excavated treasures of the mysterious Sinagua people of the Southwest... Montezuma's Castle. It is one of the best preserved cliff dwellings of North America. There will be ample photo stops along the way, include the amazing Chapel of The Holy Cross, which looks as though it has grown from the rocks themselves and is always a favorite stop for pictures.

The Sedona tour is a lot more than just a ride to Sedona. On the way, we will stop at Montezuma's Castle, a pre-Columbian ruin of the Sinagua tribe. A classic example of a cliff dwelling, this five-story building made of rocks, sticks, mud and a natural limestone cave is well worth the stop. No one knows exactly why the tribe left about 500 years ago.

Nest we will journey through Sedona's spectacular Red Rock Country with its breathtaking rock formations and unforgettable scenery. Southwest Tours' exclusive Coconino National Forest Service permit affords us the opportumity to take you to some of the most stunning photographic locations in the area.

We'll visit Sedona’s most beautiful locations including the Chapel of the Holy Cross. After a stop for lunch in Old Town Sedona you can choose to continue on with approximately 1 hour of sightseeing with your Guide or approximately 1 hour of self-guided shopping in Sedona’s unique shops and galleries.

The next stop on this mind-boggling trip back in time is to the start of the historic and fascinating Arizona mining industry. Clinging to the side of Mingus Mountain, the small and antiquated haven known as Jerome takes us back to the days of the copper boom-towns. It is not difficult imagine what it was like here a hundred years ago… miners filling the streets, saloons, and brothels and ore wagons constantly bumping along the bustling, winding roads. Today, Jerome has become a world renowned artist community and the view from town has to be a real source of inspiration for the many artists and craftspeople who reside here.

The Sedona Tour
January - December: Daily at 8:00am with Pick up between 7:00 - 8:00am

Hotel Pick Up:

• Pick up time is generally between 7:00am - 8:00am. You will be contact by a the Phoenix Tour Office the evening prior to your tour. If you are not in, a message will be left on voicemail or at the front desk for you to call us. If the confirmation message is not received or is unclear, please contact our office. If for some reason you have not received your pickup time, please call us. All necessary telephone numbers will be provided upon confirmation. Pick up is not provided from Private Residences.

What to Bring:

• Be sure to take a warm jacket along from November through March. A light one will be needed September, October, April and May.

About The Vehicle:

• New Model, deluxe stretch 15 passenger vans are used. Maximum guests on any tour will be 12 guests. All vans have comfortable seating, large windows and a speaker system so guests can better hear the tour guide. Vans are air-conditioned and heated for colder months.

Your credit card will be charged the total amount of products and services selected at the time of booking. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover Cards.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher:

This tour must be booked at least 24hrs in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print this voucher on and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

Cancellation and No Show Policy:

Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged a minimum $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge 100% for No Shows. If the tour is cancelled by the tour operator, the full ticket price will be refunded.

Supplier and Tourcorp assume no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, weather, conditions of trails, roads, bays, oceans, rivers, airspace and any other conditions beyond control of Supplier, in addition to insufficient numbers of passengers.
