Grand Canyon South Rim Aerial Tour

Begin your air tour with a one hour flight from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon. Along the way, enjoy the view from the air as you pass over the Tonto National Forest; make a scenic pass through the Red Rock formations of Sedona; and soar past the San Francisco Peak.

Upon arriving at the Grand Canyon, your pilot will begin the scenic overflight on a route that only a few companies are allowed to fly. This 20-30 minute overflight of one of nature's most spectacular sights will give you a view of the Grand Canyon seen by only a handful of people as you fly 1,000 feet above the rim of the Grand Canyon. After completing the overflight of the Grand Canyon, enjoy a short, one hour flight back to Phoenix.

About The Aircraft:

Westwind Air Service operates a fleet of new Cessna Grand Caravans and Cessna 207 aircraft.

Every seat is a Window Seat in all Westwind planes making it easy to take great photos and enjoy the vistas. Each plane is also equipped with MP3 narration over individual headsets during tours.

Our Cessna 207s seat between 5 and 6 passengers, depending on weights.

Our Grand Caravans are single-engine, turbine-powered aircraft providing greater speed, air-conditioned comfort and are the most advanced "quiet technology" available.

Each Grand Caravan seats 9 passengers. Each plane is a little different. We have two Executive Caravans and the rest are Commuter seating.

This tour must be booked at least 24hrs in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print this voucher on you home/office printer and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.
